Peter Uvin a gorgeous combination, reminiscent of the great work of Ryuichi Sakamoto and alva noto twenty years ago, but with its own distinct personalty. BlankFor.ms' and Jason Moran's restraints make this alum superb. Favorite track: Affectionate, Painful.

World of Echo I admit that I bought every Jason Moran album from his debut in 1999 to his eighth album in 2010 (some of you might be saying, hey, don't you mean seventh? I include The Bandwagon, because c'mon, live albums count, at least in jazz), but I fell off after that. BlankFor.ms peaked my interest in checking out what Jason Moran was up to these days, and this album does not disappoint. Recommended listening!
